Another nod to some of the now-closed clubs of our youth, Cherry Lounge is the perfect sprightly little treat to enjoy with an impromptu December patio season. For this IPA, we used small amount of lactose in the boil for body and sweetness, and then added cherry puree to fermentation, along with Madagascar bourbon vanilla. A Centennial and Lemon Drop dry hop add some complexity and a nice hoppy punch to remind you that yes, this is still an IPA. Dancefloor, side bar, or chilling on the couch, this beer hangs! *Contains Lactose
Our December donation partner is https://www.womenscentrecalgary.org/ We chose this organization for the local work they do in YYC that supports women, and they are lead by a diverse group of individuals.
The Women’s Centre provides a safe and supportive space accessed by thousands of women in Calgary. We offer women opportunities to both receive and provide support, Connect with Others and build community through a variety of programs. While the Women’s Centre is open to all women, 41% of the women who access our services and volunteer their time are living in poverty. In 2019, the Women’s Centre responded to more than 95,400 contacts from women, the majority of which were from women struggling with poverty-related issues.
