For our second stout of the season, we wanted to go even bigger to help warm up our frigid hearts.  Coming in at 8.3%, this silky, chocolatey breakfast stout was brewed with flaked oats and then fermented on vanilla beans, maple and cinnamon before being finished with 20 kg of blackberry puree.  The aroma is intoxicating with vanilla and maple at the forefront and a great berry note which finishes slightly sweet and warming.  It's like holding hands on a cold day, eventually it will warm you up!

Key ingredients

Pilsner backbone, chocolate malt, roasted barley, vanilla beans, maple, cinnamon
